Zipp Sub 9 Wheel

This is a disc tubular wheel for the very top level competition where aerodynamic performance is paramount, such as in long distance triathlon events and ironman challenges.

Its been used successfully by cyclists at World Championship level, justifying Zipp's high level of technology research and input into improving the speed characteristics of the wheel. It was the first wheel ever to produce forward lift at some wind angles, on account of the toroidal bulge profile around the disc edge.
