These Shimano XTR disc brakes are towards the top of the range hydraulic brakes, including models: M965, M966, M975.
965 has super lightweight forged mono body with twin opposed pistons increases rigidity, power and modulation whilst reducing weight, designed to work with new XTR ST-M965 Dual Control brake/gear levers, two brake pad options.
M975 top of the range has: single forged Mono-body construction - for optimum stiffness to weight ratio - Brake pads use Titanium back plate - for better heat dissipation and a solid brake feeling - Rotor design offers increased strength and rigidity - Centre Lock system for a lightweight and easy set-up.
