Shimano Nexave Chainset

Shimano Nexave chainsets include double and triple sets with taper available on the triple, for touring or hybrid bikes.

The Nexave triple chainset is part of a range of matched components in the Nexave 3 x 7 component group. The Chainrings feature ramps and pins to provide smooth and precise shifting every time. The rings are fixed to an evenly spaced four arm crank. Available in 170mm crank length with 48/38/28 ring sizes.

The Nexave C900 is specifically for hybrid bikes and uses the Shimano Power Change Mechanism, for shifting the Front derailleur more easily because the derailleur is moved by energy from the spinning crank.

Shifting response is improved through lateral reinforcement of chain wheels at shift points. Features: disc-type chainring for high-tech look. One key release system, for simple removal. Available in 170 or 175mm crank lengths with 46/34 teeth chainrings.
