Campagnolo Zonda Wheels

The Campagnolo Zonda is a clincher with a combined front and rear weight of 1610g to give a mid level competition wheelset with differentiated rims.

Rims are lightened between the zones in which the spokes are inserted, i.e. the section of the rim where diameters can be reduced without diminishing solidity. Special milling in the section opposite the joint ensures dynamic balance during rotation of the wheel and prevents a "jump" being felt at high speeds. Top bridge is free of holes, so no rim tape is needed, saving weight and the wheel has greater torsional stiffness and vertical elasticity.

Spokes are arranged radially on the front wheel and the rear wheel has G3 spoking. Hubs are oversize with aluminium axles and self-aligning bearings. Rear right-hand hub flange oversized to increase torsional stiffness. Weights: 675 g front, 935 g rear, 26mm rim, 30mm for the rear. Shimano or Campagnolo freehub option.
